Children's Portraits
Siegman Portraits has built the reputation for being a leader in the creation of fine children's portraits. We specialize in a Style called "Personality Portraiture". Our unique ability to relate to children of all ages results in natural poses bursting with expression. Also, our affordability is an additional reason parents return with their children over and over again. Children, 24 months and younger should be photographed every 3 months, as a child will change more during that time than the rest of their lifetime. Children 24 months to 6 years should be photographed every 6 months, as their facial structures and bodies are on a constant changing course. After that, we advise a portrait sitting at least every year, on or around the child’s birthday. CHILDREN’S PORTRAIT CLUB Since its inception, my Children’s Portrait Club has been designed to help parents keep up with their children’s sessions on a regular basis, not missing any of the important growth stages of the child. Also, I strive to reward parents with the finest quality photography at low prices. Over the last several years, I've noted some things that led me to make some fundamental changes in the Portrait Club. First, parents after seeing the proofs wanted everything. With so many great poses, they couldn't decide what they didn't want. Even though pictures were priced low, ordering could become expensive. I want parents to be able to have all their pictures and at the same time keep it affordable so they can stay on schedule. Also, pictures are used differently now. People like to post on Facebook, place them in calendars, memory books, digital picture frames, and other unique gifts. Professional portraits are copyrighted and that creates an obstacle. To keep portraits affordable, and to help families stay on schedule with their children's sessions, I've changed our pricing to include two options. The first is a Flat Session Fee and a Minimum Order. The other is for a session to include a CD with all the digital images and an unlimited license to use them. These sessions are now hourly, so you can include additional children or groupings at no additional charge. For those of you who choose the CD and still prefer to order Premium Quality Portraits from me, we will continue to offer pictures and other unique gift items at very competitive prices, along with monthly specials on select items. You'll soon be able to hear about the Specials in our "Tweets". Some parents have told me that it can be difficult for them getting their children ready and traveling to the studio. For that reason, I decided to bring the studio to you. All sessions are now made on location. I can come to your home, a park, playground or a place of your choosing. I provide lighting and backgrounds as needed. Finally and until further notice, due to the current climate and because some families may burdened to come on schedule, everyone whether On or Off Schedule will get the specially reduced On Schedule pricing.
